It’s Pack2School time! Though summer is just beginning, at Safe Shores – The DC Children’s Advocacy Center, we’re working on making sure the children we serve have the learning tools they need for the 2024-25 school year.
Together, with you and others in our community, we’ll make sure that at least 150 children whose lives have been impacted by abuse in DC have some of the learning tools they need when they head back to class.
Here’s how you can help kids and make Pack2School 2024 a success:
1. Sponsor a backpack and school supply list for a child (or backpacks and lists).
To become a sponsor, complete the Pack2School Sponsor Request Form below!
2. Make a monetary donation in support of the drive.
No donation is too small, and every gift helps Safe Shores equip our clients with the tools they need for the school year ahead.
3. Spread the word!
Send this page to others you know who may be interested in sponsoring or donating! You can get family, friends, and coworkers involved by setting up a virtual fundraising page or by teaming up to sponsor backpacks together. For help setting up a fundraiser, email givetoachild@safeshores.org.
