Safe Shores' Holiday Assistance Drive, December 2007
We believe the Holiday Assistance program we have worked to refine over the years is so effective and in keeping with the spirit of the season because it aims to respond to each child’s unique wishes and affirm their individuality. In addition, the gifts are donated anonymously to families and delivered to them by social workers in order to protect the forensic integrity of the investigation and prosecution processes. In this way, Safe Shores seeks to respect the preeminent role these parents/caregivers play in their children’s lives and to help promote the dignity of the families by allowing the parents/caregivers themselves to present the gifts to the children on their observed holiday.

Safe Shores' Back to School Drive Concludes, August 2007
Our 2007 Back to School Drive has concluded and was a huge success! On a daily basis, children are leaving the Center with backpacks filled with supplies and ready to start the new school year. A huge thank you to all who donated supplies, gift cards and monetary donations in support of our child clients!
